M.R. International School, a beacon of excellence in education and sports, recently organized a thrilling sports tournament on May 15, 2024, as part of the Hub of Learning initiative. The event welcomed six prestigious schools, including Hindu Public School, Anand Public School, S.D. Model School, Government Model School, M.V.M. School, and the host school itself, M.R. International School.
The tournament showcased a blend of competitive spirit and sportsmanship across both volleyball and swimming events. In the volleyball category, M.R. International School showcased their dominance by clinching the first position, followed by Anand Public School in second place and S.D. Model School securing the third position.
In the swimming arena, the talented athletes from M.R. International School once again demonstrated their prowess. Meera and Janvi from M.R. International School secured the first and second positions respectively, while Gursimar from Anand Public School claimed the third spot. Among the boys, Lakshay from M.R. International School emerged as the champion, with Parjeev from Anand Public School and Tanish from M.R. International School securing the second and third positions respectively.
The tournament not only provided a platform for students to showcase their athletic abilities but also promoted a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participating schools. It was a testament to the importance of sports in holistic education, fostering teamwork, discipline, and resilience.
